Molina schedule for Roma medical test and contract on August 10

Nahuel Molina is expected in Italy on Monday for his medical tests, ready to complete the transfer from Atletico Madrid to Roma for circa €13m plus €4m in add-ons.
A deal was struck earlier this week between the two clubs, and although there are some slight variations on the reports of the fee, it is in total amounting to €17-18m.

Molina delay due to World Cup

However, Molina was part of the Argentina squad that lost the 2026 World Cup Final, and therefore it was decided not to interrupt his late vacation.
He has been staying in Ibiza and is enjoying the last few hours of his time off before beginning the new adventure in the Eternal City.

The Corriere dello Sport claim that Molina will be in Italy on Monday, where he will undergo his medical tests and sign the contract.
Roma coach Gian Piero Gasperini confirmed as much when he told reporters after the 3-0 friendly defeat to Brighton that they would “see Molina from Tuesday,” as this is when he should be ready to begin training with his new teammates.
It is a return to Serie A for the full-back, who had already played for Udinese before the move to Atletico Madrid.
He will also not be taking up a non-EU slot in the squad, as he is getting a Spanish passport.
