Lewis-Skelly’s Important Role At Arsenal Last Season
Lewis-Skelly served as a decent squad player for the North London club in the previous campaign as he helped them win the Premier League title. The English sensation made ten appearances for the Gunners in the league, securing one assist in the process.
The 19-year-old is currently one of the versatile young players in the Premier League. Hence, the Blues would do well to bring him to Stamford Bridge in this transfer window.
His current contract at the Emirates Stadium will run out in the summer of 2030, which could make it tough for Chelsea to sign him on a cut-price deal this month.

Will Lewis-Skelly Be A Good Option For Chelsea Head Coach Xabi Alonso?
Lewis-Skelly is a solid tackler of the ball and can sense the danger well to make some crucial interceptions for his team inside his half. He usually puts his foot through the ball when required and is full of energy and running.
The English talent can even engineer the odd chance for his teammates to score. Lewis-Skelly can play as a left-back or as a central midfielder if told to do so by his manager. He is already quite familiar with the Premier League and won’t take much time to settle into life at Chelsea.
We can expect Lewis-Skelly to bring more quality and depth to Chelsea boss Xabi Alonso’s squad. He is good enough to fight for a regular first-team spot at the West London club in the coming seasons.
At 19, the future looks quite bright for Lewis-Skelly as long as he continues to improve with each year. He will also help the Blues compete across all fronts over the next few years. All in all, Lewis-Skelly would be a decent option for Chelsea in the long run, so Alonso should focus on moving in for him before the end of this summer transfer window.
