WATCH: New Ohio State O-Coordinator Arthur Smith camp press conference
· Yahoo Sports
We heard from Ohio State defensive coordinator Matt Patricia on Thursday to provide a fall camp update on where things are early on in fall camp for the defense, but on Wednesday, we heard from new offensive coordinator Arthur Smith. He broke down where things stand on the offense, and for many of you, it will likely be the first real look at the former Titans and Steelers offensive coordinator (and Falcons head coach) now calling the shots for the offense at Ohio State.

Smith met with the media for a short press conference, and we can glean a little insight from how he will call things and what he sees from the players on the roster, thanks to his candid and analytical nature (as you'll see). There's still a lot of camp to go and a lot of things to still figure out, but we have Smith's complete press conference thanks to Marcus Hartman's X account, for you to watch, take in, and absorb.
During his time with reporters, Smith compared the college game to the pro game, talked about what he sees from the running backs, Jeremiah Smith and Julian Sayin, talked about the tempo of the game, how the install of the offense is going, and much more.
Things will continue through fall camp, and we'll be there to bring reaction, press conferences, and more heading into the first game of the Ohio State 2026 season when the Buckeyes host Ball State on Saturday, Sept. 5.
