Former Ohio State WR Garrett Wilson make ridiculous one-handed grab

It would be hard to argue that any other school besides Ohio State is "Wide Receiver U." Many schools try to stake a claim to the title, but certainly the Buckeyes might have the best argument. Going all the way back to the 1980s with Cris Carter to the present day with Jeremiah Smith, OSU has consistently churned out talent at the receiver position as much or more than any other school.

A former Buckeye is adding to the lore with a ridiculous catch made in practice. Garrett Wilson wore the Scarlet and Gray for three seasons from 2019 to 2021, during which he accumulated over 2,200 yards and 23 touchdowns. All that while playing alongside Chris Olave and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. He parlayed his collegiate success into being picked No. 10 overall by the New York Jets in 2022. Wilson continues to impress even though he's never had a great quarterback to throw him the ball while in the NFL.

Regardless, Wilson continues to do things that normal human beings can't do. Just take a look at the catch he made in practice that seems to defy the laws of physics.

And it's not just practice. Wilson routinely makes highlight-reel catches in games when it really counts. Imagine what he could do if he had a competent quarterback under center. Wilson started the preseason by hauling in two receptions for 32 yards from rookie starter Cade Klubnik in limited action.
