More than two dozen Denver Broncos players did not play in the team's 27-7 win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 1 of NFL preseason.

The list is headlined by quarterback Bo Nix, who is returning from a broken ankle suffered in January. Nix is expected to play in the team's upcoming home preseason games (on natural grass) over the next two weeks.
Joining Nix on the did-not-play list were wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, receiver Marvin Mims, running back J.K. Dobbins, tight end Nate Adkins, center Alex Forsyth, linebacker Jordan Turner, outside linebacker Dasan McCullough, center Luke Wattenberg, center Lecitus Smith, offensive lineman Alex Palczewski, guard Nick Gargiulo (PUP), wide receiver Michael Bandy and tight end Caleb Lohner.
