Michigan State football EDGE makes Senior Bowl Top 300

· Yahoo Sports

The Panini Senior Bowl Top 300 is a prestigious list of players that are selected each year by executive director Drew Fabianich heading into the season. The list represents 300 players that are the most promising NFL Draft prospects entering that college football season. This year, EDGE rusher Keahnist Thompson was the only Michigan State football player to make the cut.

Thompson transferred to Michigan State this winter after a successful career at UCF and Weber State. Thompson has one more year of eligibility.

Last year, three Spartans made this list, and those names were Jack Velling, Ryan Eckley, and Nikai Martinez. Velling signed an undrafted free agent deal with the Atlanta Falcons while Eckley was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens.
