Players and committee members also moved through different parts of the city, appealing to shopkeepers to support the campaign.

The protesters have been demanding that the playground be preserved exclusively for sports activities. They argued that construction at the site could affect an important centre for nurturing Neemuch’s sporting talent.

Meanwhile, the administration maintained that the Sandipani school building would be constructed on campus, while sports facilities, including basketball, football, cricket, volleyball and a running track, would also be developed and made available to players.

However, with the construction process already initiated and the layout marked at the site, opposition from players has intensified. The committee said it would continue its campaign to protect the playground.
