Kacey Musgraves’ New Tour Prop Looks Like a Giant Pair of Testicles, and the Internet Cannot Unsee It

Kacey Musgraves just gave disco balls a whole new meaning. During a stop on her Middle of Nowhere tour, she performed “Rhinestoned” while sitting comfortably atop a bedazzled throne. However, those disco balls absolutely look like a dangling set of testicles. I’m clearly not alone in that assessment either. The internet is laughing hysterically about the fixture she was perched on.

“But when I dip mine in glitter at work, I get sent to HR,” one person commented on TikTok. “Imagine going to engineering school and your first gig is to build balls,” another quipped.
However, some people certainly didn’t have the same sense of humor as others. One person found the whole affair to just be stupid and pointless, a reflection of where we are as a society. Similarly, another found it pretty tacky on the part of Kacey Musgraves. “I’m sure I’ll get flack but that’s so classless. Maybe that’s what she was going for,” one person wrote.
For what it’s worth, Musgraves is staying on brand with how she’s been joking about sex. In promotion of her song “Dry Spell” on her album Middle of Nowhere, she put up a limited edition bottle of lube for sale. That way, anyone trying to break their unlucky streak trying to have sex can finally break the curse.

“Drought Drops is a cheeky little wink to my song, combined with a great product from Medicine Mama. Hopefully it keeps the dry spells away and the good times coming,” Musgraves said in a statement.
Medicine Mama chief executive officer Dr. Clare Bertucio wasn’t nearly as cheeky as Kacey Musgraves. She said that as silly as it might be initially, it’s important to try to strip away all the stigmas away from using lubrication.

Kacey Musgraves is slated to stay on the road until October 27th, with her final show taking place in Seattle at Climate Pledge Arena. Moreover, she’s bringing a vast array of country heavy hitters with her. Throughout the Middle of Nowhere tour, acts like Midland, Flatland Cavalry, and Charles Wesley Godwin will come on board to support her.
