Martina Navratilova criticized Dallas Wings guard Odyssey Sims for her foul on Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark during Thursday’s game.
In the fourth quarter with 8:25 remaining on the clock, Sims tackled Clark from behind and took her to the ground. The Fever star grimaced in pain as she held her knee.

Reacting to a video posted by sportscaster Linda Cohn on X, Navratilova called for accountability, suggesting that the physicality in the WNBA has become excessive.
“That is not a basketball play. Don’t talk to me like I never played or watched a ton of basketball. This is happening all the time. It’s not ok.”
Earlier in the game, Clark got into a heated exchange with Dallas guard Paige Bueckers. Bueckers grabbed Clark’s arm while trying to foul her, angering the Fever star.
