Violent sex offender chased out of Smiths Falls by enraged public

Instead, the 35-year-old pedophile was chased out of Smiths Falls after he was confronted in a local park by irate citizens.
Cops in Ottawa now say the sicko is their problem and have issued a public safety warning for the “high-risk” violent sexual offender now living in the downtown area.

‘You f***ing sex offender!’
As a woman chases after the man believed to be Gilpin, she yells: “Get the f*** out of here you little b****. Now move. You come to a f***ing park for domestic violence survivors. You f***ing sex offender.Get the f*** off my block!”

Social media posts said Gilpin was whisked out of his hometown for allegedly hanging around parks and talking to children.
According to cops, Gilpin — adorned with facial tattoos — poses a “significant risk” to public safety due to his brutal history of violence and sexual offending. The Ottawa notice was published on Aug. 21.
“Gilpin has a criminal history that includes a sexual offence involving a child, assaults, weapons offences, disarming a police officer, break and enters, and thefts,” police said.
Cops in Smiths Falls said Gilpin was convicted in what they described as a “brutal child sexual assault.” He has an extensive criminal record. In 2015, police issued a notice that he was wanted on 20 charges, including sexual assault, forcible confinement, assault with a weapon, and suffocating or strangling.
Four weeks after he was quietly relocated to Ottawa, cops issued a public safety notification after residents recognized him and began chasing him out of parks and circulating his location online.
No longer on release conditions
Police believe the sex offender is at an “elevated risk” of re-offending now that he is no longer on conditions of release. During his recent sojourn, he was also barred from Tim Hortons.
“Aaron Gilpin came to the recent attention of police after a suspicious person’s call was received at the gazebo area beside town hall,” Smiths Falls police said. “Although no criminal offences occurred, it caused concern to the officers.”
Gilpin is white, about 6 feet with a medium build and hazel eyes, and has numerous tattoos.
Ottawa Police asked anyone who witnesses Gilpin involved in a criminal activity to avoid approaching him and contact the OPS High-Risk Offender Management Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 4395, or 911 in case of an emergency.

Meanwhile, in Nova Scotia, cops in New Glasgow are warning the public about a high-risk sex offender who has been released in the area. It’s the second time in less than a year a notice has been issued for Matthew William Rozins, 43.
His criminal history involves offences in multiple provinces, including Ontario. He has been convicted of sexual assault, trespassing at night, indecent acts, assault, and criminal harassment. He faces additional charges in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
He was released from the Northeast Nova Scotia Correctional Facility on Thursday under supervision.
