Bruce McCulloch, Jay Baruchel to induct The Tragically Hip into Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame

City and Colour, Finneas, Our Lady Peace, Amanda Marshall and Jeff Tweedy of Wilco are among the performers announced for the 2026 Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony being presented by Amazon Music.

George Stroumboulopoulos and Marie-Mai will also host the Sept. 26 event at Massey Hall honouring previous announced 2026 inductees The Tragically Hip, Mike Reno and Paul Dean of Loverboy, Leslie Feist, and Roch Voisine.
Bruce McCulloch of Kids in the Hall and actor-filmmaker Jay Baruchel will induct The Tragically Hip; songwriter Jim Vallance will induct Reno and Dean of Loverboy; Finneas, brother and collaborator of Billie Eilish, will induct Feist and is also performing a tribute; and Olympic women’s hockey gold medalists Marie-Philip Poulin and Laura Stacey will induct Voisine.
Boi-1da will make a special appearance
Other performers include Allison Russell, Charlotte Cornfield, Isabelle Boulay, Ludovick Bourgeois, Matt Lang, Ruby Waters, Sara Dufour, Sebastian Gaskin, TALK, Tia Wood, and Todd Kerns and the celebration will also feature a special appearance by Grammy Award-winning producer and songwriter Boi-1da.
Additional performers and special guests will be announced in the coming weeks, with more surprises to be revealed on the night of the ceremony.

Presented in collaboration with Amazon Music, the 2026 Massey Hall ceremony will be live-streamed globally via the Amazon Music Twitch channel and the Amazon Music app .
It will also be available to stream on Prime Video in Canada.
The livestream will be hosted by two-time Canadian Screen Award winner Keshia Chanté.
