Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry recently announced a new documentary titled "Portrait of an Artist: Stephen Curry," coming to theaters this October. According to Curry's Instagram page, the documentary will be about his journey to reach 4,000 career-made 3-pointers.
Curry, a former top-10 pick 17 years ago in the 2009 NBA Draft, revolutionized the game of basketball with his 3-point shooting prowess. Curry's unbelievable shooting helped him win back-to-back MVP trophies (2014-15 and 2015-16) and the first unanimous MVP award. It also spurred the Warriors to become one of the most successful dynasties in NBA history, winning four championships, three of which came in a four-year span.

For his career, the Davidson product leads the NBA all-time in 3-pointers made, 3-pointers attempted, 3-pointers made per game and 3-pointers attempted per game, while still shooting 42.2% from beyond the arc.
