Whilst the reigning Ballon d’Or winner remains under contract with Les Rouge et Bleu until 2028, the club’s management would like to reach an agreement to extend it by one or two years, taking it through to 2029 or 2030. This is a view shared by the player and his entourage, who have been in talks with the club for several months now.
Having enjoyed a superb 2025-26 season, in which he scored 20 goals and provided 11 assists in 40 appearances across all competitions and won several titles, including another Champions League, Dembélé is keen to continue his journey with PSG, which he joined in 2023.
Having already made three appearances since the start of the 2026-27 campaign, the Vernon-born player is now aiming to win a third consecutive Champions League title with the Parisian club.
