OPPOSING MANAGER - FRANK LAMPARD

After a stellar playing career, the former Chelsea and City man masterminded Coventry’s spectacular return to the top-flight, cruising to Championship glory with just seven losses in 46 league matches last season.

After previous coaching stints at Derby County and Chelsea, the England legend seems to have found his managerial home with the Sky Blues.

PREVIOUS MEETING

Our last encounter against Coventry came back in Division 1 back in March 2002, where we claimed a sixth successive home victory with a 4-2 win, thanks to a Shaun Wright-Phillips brace, added to by goals from Darren Huckerby and Danny Tiatto.
