If you're looking through fantasy football rankings on various sites, you might notice some strange designations like CEL and -- in this case -- DNR. Specifically, Brandon Aiyuk has "DNR" next to his name. Why is that next to the name of the San Francisco 49ers receiver?

If you're here for an answer, we've got one: Amid his use of social media to express his discontent with the Niners and a hope to be traded, he "did not report" (DNR) to training camp and was placed on what's called the "reserve/left squad" list. That means his contract stays with the Niners but he doesn't count toward their active 53-man roster.
