The Chargers' 2026 season is a little over a week away, and the expectations couldn't be any higher.

Los Angeles has experienced its fair share of shortcomings throughout its history, and they hope to change that narrative in a big way in 2026. That's a massive task that they have ahead of them, and players on the team aren't shy to tackle that topic head-on, including Chargers cornerback Tarheeb Still.
Still spoke to the media Tuesday and said he is not only ready to play some real football, but also has his sights set on the ultimate goal: winning a Super Bowl.
“I feel like the guys always have a sense of urgency to not only chase greatness, but to raise our standards,” Still said. “We have to improve because, obviously, after the last two years, guys are chasing improvement, chasing ways to get better than we were in the past. I mean, I just want to win the Super Bowl.
“So whatever that takes, whatever that looks like, whatever my role is, I’m all for it,” he added.
Still, 24, is set to enter his third season in the league after being selected by Los Angeles in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Still has experienced some team success, at least in the regular season, and while he's done his part to help guide the Chargers to the playoffs, they have yet to collect a win. It's been tough sledding for the Chargers in the playoffs, with back-to-back tough performances.
Jackson, the veteran cornerback, is set to enter his second season in Los Angeles and his ninth NFL season. Although he hasn't been a Charger for a long time, he loves the relationships he's formed with his teammates.
“In this league, it’s hard to keep the majority of the guys around,” Jackson said. “It’s hard to keep the team together. (But) there’s a lot of things that we don’t have to do that other teams that have newer players have to get together, who are adding key pieces to it, who have to build that camaraderie.”
It’s a pivotal season for the Chargers, who revamped and retooled the roster in a major way. After nearly a decade without a playoff win, the team is hungry to finally break through.
