Freeport (1-1), South Walton (2-0) and Walton (2-0) went a collective 3-0 in routs, while over in Okaloosa County, Baker (1-1) and Niceville (1-1) shined with bounce-back wins. Fittingly, those five teams highlight our weekly list of top high school football performers.

Emerald Coast Week 2 top high school football performers

Bryce Anderson, Baker: Anderson delivered two sacks in a 35-13 win over Destin.

Trey Baker, Baker: Baker had six tackles and a sack in the Gator win over Destin.

JD Brown, South Walton: The UConn commit threw for 208 yards and two scores without a pick and ran for 49 yards in SoWal's 35-0 win over FWB.

Rayshaun Cargle, Crestview: Cargle had five catches for 107 yards and a touchdown in Crestview's loss.

Rodney Clinch, Walton: Clinch had 138 yards and two touchdowns on 14 touches in Walton's win over Arnold.

Donnie Couitt, Destin: Couitt rushed nine times for 113 yards and a score in a loss to Baker.

Ceaton Ealum, Walton: Ealum had seven tackles, eight QB hurries and .5 sacks in Walton's rout of Arnold.

Jakobe Gilyard, Niceville: The four-star tailback had 99 yards and a score in Niceville's win over West Florida.

Rashawn Gundrum, Walton: Gundrum had 1.5 sacks in Walton's win over Arnold.

Carter Hawk, South Walton: Hawk had four catches for 74 yards and a touchdown in SoWal's rout of FWB.

August Ingermann, Niceville: Ingermann had a team-best 10 tackles and three tackles for loss in Niceville's win over West Florida.

Ali Ingersoll, Crestview: Ingersoll had a team-best 11 tackles in a loss to Enterprise (Alabama).

Ace Jackson, Walton: Jackson had seven tackles and 1.5 sacks in a rout of Arnold.

Peyton Johns, Navarre: Johns threw for 254 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 87 yards and a score in Navarre's loss to Booker T. Washington.

Harrison Keepman, South Walton: Keepman had a team-best 10 tackles in SoWal's rout of FWB.

Caleb Leonard, Niceville: Leonard had three catches for 67 yards and a touchdown in Niceville's win over West Florida.

Dylan Louthain, Freeport: Louthain had 21 touches for 230 yards and tied a program record with five rushing touchdowns in a rout of North Bay Haven.

Max Madden, South Walton: Madden had 112 yards and two touchdowns on 20 touches in SoWal's rout of FWB.

Esera Mageo, Navarre: Mageo had an interception and caused a fumble in Navarre's loss to Booker T. Washington.

Carter Marracco, Choctaw: Marracco rushed seven times for 103 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-21 loss to Auburn (Alabama).

Deagan McCoy, Niceville: McCoy had four touchdowns in Niceville's win over West Florida, throwing for 179 yards and three scores and rushing for 53 yards and a touchdown.

Talen McElyea, Freeport: McElyea had six catches for 65 yards and a touchdown in Freeport's win over North Bay Haven.

Dawson Mitchem, Baker: Mitchem rushed for 106 yards and two scores and completed 6 of 8 passes for 73 yards in a win over Destin.

Tristian Powell, Walton: Powell had a 50-yard touchdown reception and an interception in Walton's rout of Arnold.

Brody Powers, Navarre: Powers had six catches for 83 yards and two touchdowns in Navarre's loss to Booker T. Washington.

Whitton West, Walton: West rushed eight times for 125 yards and a score and threw for 90 yards and a touchdown in Walton's rout of Arnold.

Malachi White, Niceville: White had three catches for 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns in Niceville's win over West Florida.

Gibson Wills, South Walton: All six of Wills' kickoffs went for touchbacks, he was 5 for 5 on extra points and his lone punt travelled 57 yards into the red zone in SoWal's rout of FWB.

Calvin Wilks, Baker: Wilks rushed 30 times for 162 yards and three scores in Baker's win over Destin.

Brady Womble, Walton: Womble had five tackles, two pass deflections and a fumble recovery in Walton's rout of Arnold.
