The Chiefs hosted undrafted rookie wide receiver Cam Ross and UDFA linebacker Taurean York for tryouts on Friday, according to the NFL's transaction wire. Ross (5-10, 186 pounds) and York (5-11, 226 pounds) were two fan favorites this summer, and they are arguably two of the most notable players cut by the Broncoswho remain free agents.
Ross hauled in five receptions for 29 yards and rushed twice for 21 yards in three preseason games. He also returned two kickoffs for 47 yards and five punts for 17 yards. York totaled five tackles (including one behind the line) in three appearances this summer.
So far, six players who were cut by Denver have found new NFL homes. We'll see if Ross and York join that list in the coming days.
