Carlos Tevez is planning the farewell match to end all farewell matches. The Argentine icon wants Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo in the same team, at Boca Juniors, at La Bombonera.

The event is set for December, and the guest list could make history.
Tevez retired in June 2022 but wants to bow out properly where it all began, in the colours that brought him 11 titles, including five Primera Division championships.

According to TyC Sports, Tevez has consulted former team-mate Juan Roman Riquelme, now the club’s president, about scheduling the match for December 12-13 or the following weekend.
The aim is to assemble a team of friends from an extraordinary career, with stints at Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus providing plenty of candidates.
Over 60 stars who shared the pitch with Tevez are expected to take part.
The headline names, though, are Messi and Ronaldo. Both are rumoured to be involved, which would mark a rare moment of the two greats on the same side.
They only played in opposite camps during their careers, at Barcelona and Real Madrid, so a shared dressing room would be a genuine piece of football history.
For Tevez, it would be a send-off that captures everything he meant to the game, the relentless forward who won everywhere he went.
