Jaylen Brown Finally Meets 6-Year-Old Kid Who Went Viral for Passion Reaction Over His Shocking Trade to 76ers

The Boston Celtics hurt many of their fans when they decided to go separate ways with their star Jaylen Brown. It was one of the more polarizing trade the team was involved in and might continue to be a hot topic in the years to come.

It hurt a lot of their fanbase. Brown lead the team to staying relevant when they were not supposed to be competitive. He also ingrained himself in communities through advocacies.

He changed the life of people but none has probably gone different phases in just a span of one month than Gio, Brown’s six-year-old super fan who went viral moments after the trade was announced.

Gio’s mother posted a video of him passionately crying upon hearing that his favorite player was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers. Brown tried to pacify him after coming across the post on social media.

The kid’s moment with Brown just got even better after he finally met the 2024 Finals MVP on Sunday during his return to Boston for a non-NBA event.

The tender moment was posted on X. Gio even got to hug JB.

“I love you so much. You mean a lot to me, and you are my favorite player in the whole NBA. And thank you for everything that you did with the Celtics,” Gio was heard saying in the video.

Brown was in Massachusetts for a government ceremony wherein he was presented his own street sign. He was also given a symbolic key to the city.

Lots of things have been said about the end of Brown’s relationship with the Celtics. There are claims that he did not get along with president Brad Stevens or he is not even friends with Jayson Tatum.

The rumors will go on and on and on but the five-time All-Star’s affection for the city will not waver.
