San Francisco 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey (undisclosed) was out of practice Monday, Sept. 7, in the portion open to the media, according to NBC Sports Bay Area's Matt Maiocco.

Why it Matters: CMC and the Niners take on the Los Angeles Rams Thursday in Melbourne, Australia. He has been bothered by "tightness" in camp, but this could simply be a veteran day off. If he's still out Tuesday, then some caution flags will raise quickly. He's an elite RB1 in fantasy if he's good to go. Kaelon Black and Jordan James would likely split the work if CMC can't go and would be flex candidates.
