The New York Jets will field a new-look pass rush versus the Tennessee Titans in Week 1.

The Jets' pass rush could potentially take advantage of the Titans' offensive tackles.
Unfortunately, new Jets pass rusher Joseph Ossai is questionable for the regular-season opener. We'll get more info later this week once the Jets start releasing official injury reports. But Ossai has been absent from several recent practices with an ongoing injury issue.
Bailey was terrific throughout OTAs, training camp, and the preseason. Enagbarge has looked like a worthwhile veteran addition to the defensive line. Edge defender Will McDonald IV is also attempting to become a more complete player this season.
The Titans enter the new season with a questionable situation at offensive tackle.
Left tackle Dan Moore Jr. is an overpaid blindside protector. Opposite starter JC Latham still has a lot of potential, but navigated a difficult hip injury last season. Titans quarterback Cam Ward took a league-high 55 sacks as a rookie in 2025.
The Jets didn't effectively rush opposing passers in 2026. They added impact players like Bailey and Enagbare to change that. They'll get a team-friendly matchup versus the Titans in Week 1.
