The Philadelphia 76ers have been one of the more storied franchises in the NBA given how many great players have played for the organization in its 78-year existence. Philadelphia is hoping to win a championship at some point in the near future with LeBron James and Jaylen Brown on the roster and the team will be having one of its most respected figures returning to lend his voice to the cause.

The Sixers announced on Wednesday that Matt Cord, Philadelphia's longtime in-arena announcer, will be returning to the team for his 29th NBA season in that role.
