Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua date, location officially announced

A highly anticipated boxing heavyweight clash between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua is finally official, and it will take place Dec. 11 at the 78,000-seat Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.

The boxing match will be streamed live on Netflix.

The match has been topic of public debate between UFC CEO Dana White and Matchroom’s Eddie Hearn for many months, and it will finally happen in Europe.

Fury (36-2-1) will enter the ring for the first time since a pair of victories over Arslanbek Makhmudov and Mariusz Wach, rebounding from title losses to Oleksandr Usyk.

On a video posted Wednesday, before the announcement, Fury promised a quick knockout against the “little coward.”

“I’m gonna knock him out so bad, it’s gonna be unbelievable,” Fury said. “It’s gonna be the quickest knockout ever.  Man’s chinny and a poppadom, paper chin. I’m taking him out. The last two real fights he had, it was over in both first rounds — not including Jake Paul, obviously.  So the last two fights he had, he was down in the first round twice. I’m taking this cunt out. One round.”

Joshua (30-4) is also on a two-fight winning streak after knocking out YouTube sensation Jake Paul and surviving an early scare before stopping Kristian Prenga in the second round.

“I am inspiring a generation,” Joshua wrote on social media.
