Josh Allen is officially at the top of another page in the Buffalo Bills record book. His second rushing score of the day was the 87th touchdown Allen has scored in his Bills career, pulling him even with Hall of Fame players Andre Reed and Thurman Thomas for the most in franchise history.

Allen came into Sunday needing two touchdowns to catch the pair and got the first just before halftime. With Buffalo trailing 10-3, Allen punched it in from 1 yard out with 19 seconds remaining in the second quarter for career touchdown No. 86.

The next one put him in some pretty good company. Allen scored his second touchdown of the day on a one-yard run with seven and a half minutes remaining in the fourth against the Los Angeles Chargers, giving Buffalo their first lead, 17-13, of the day .

Reed finished his Bills career with 87 touchdowns, scoring 86 through the air and once on the ground. Thomas got there with 65 rushing touchdowns and another 22 as a receiver. The two Hall of Famers have shared the franchise record since Reed scored his 87th and final touchdown for Buffalo in 1999.

Allen has now added his name alongside theirs, reaching 87 in his 131st game with the Bills.

Of course, tying the record only gives Allen another number to chase. The next time he finds the end zone, Reed and Thomas move down a line, Allen moves to No. 88, and the franchise record belongs to him.
