Derrick Henry vs. Dallas’ defensive front
The Cowboys have allowed 173.5 rushing yards per game. Baltimore averages 155. If Henry consistently gets past the line of scrimmage with one cut, the Ravens can stay ahead of the chains and make Lamar Jackson’s passing opportunities more dangerous.
Carson Vinson vs. the Cowboys’ edge rush
Ronnie Stanley has been ruled out, leaving Vinson in line for his first career start at left tackle. Dallas has only two sacks through two games, but that total says little about how it might attack an inexperienced replacement. Baltimore’s protection calls and tight-end help could matter early.
Marlon Humphrey and Nate Wiggins vs. CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens
Dallas can challenge both sides of a secondary with Lamb’s routes and Pickens’ downfield ability. The Ravens must limit yards after the catch while giving Dak Prescott fewer chances to hit explosive throws.
Nnamdi Madubuike vs. Dallas' offensive interior line
Madubuike has no injury designation, clearing the way for his return. Interior pressure would be valuable against a Cowboys offense that has allowed only two sacks: Prescott is harder to defend when he can step forward into a clean pocket.
Ravens kick coverage vs. KaVontae Turpin.
Baltimore’s special teams mistakes against the Saints make this battle especially relevant. Turpin can turn a routine kick into a field-position swing. Sound coverage would keep Dallas from gaining easy yards before its offense takes a snap.
