It’s only the second day of the 2026 MLB postseason and four teams are already facing elimination. While the Atlanta Braves came from behind in the 8th inning to beat the Philadelphia Phillies, the rest of the games on Tuesday lacked true drama. With seasons on the line tension should be high.

Philadelphia Philles vs. Atlanta Braves

With their season on the line the Phillies turn to two-time All-Star Cristopher Sanchez. The Phillies are 1-3 in Sanchez’s postseason starts over the last three years.

Chicago White Sox vs. Houston Astros

Ben Rice had a huge game hitting a double and two home runs, but it was complete overkill. Cam Schlittler went 6 1/3 innings, striking out 10 and giving up just two hits. The Red Sox ended up having a bullpen game while the Yankees only allowed three baserunners all night.

Chicago Cubs vs. San Diego Padres
