USA TODAY Sports predicts Florida vs Missouri outcome in Week 5
· Yahoo Sports
Florida football looks to continue its torrid start to the Jon Sumrall era against the Missouri Tigers in Columbia. Off to their best start since 2019, the 4-0 Gators look to make it five straight against the SEC opponent.
Ahead of Week 5's gridiron action, USA TODAY Sports' panel of seven writers submitted their picks for every game played among those ranked in the US LBM Coaches Poll top 25, including this Saturday's showdown inside Memorial Stadium. Only one of the seven respondents — Blake Toppmeyer, who has predicted correctly 61 out of 74 tries this season so far — chose the home team.

The other six — John Brice (63-11), Matt Hayes (66-8), Jordan Mendoza (66-8), Paul Myerberg (63-11), Erick Smith (61-13) and Eddie Timanus (64-10) picked the Orange and Blue to prevail.
Mizzou leads the all-time series dating back to 1966, 7-6, but the record is knotted up at an even 6-6 since joining the SEC. The Tigers won the previous two meetings in Columbia in 2021 and 2023, but the Gators have prevailed in three of the past five matchups.
Florida enters the game ranked eighth in both the Coaches Poll and the AP Top 25, while Missouri is ranked 25th in both major polls. The faceoff at Faurot Field begins at 3:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on ABC.
