Tuesday is generally the day for workouts and tryouts around the NFL, so Bryant (6-0, 180) is likely part of a group of players working out for the Packers. But his name might be a notable one considering rookie starting cornerback Brandon Cisse exited Sunday's win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a neck injury.
Bryant, a three-time All-Big 12 selection while at Kansas, went undrafted in the 2025 draft. He signed with the Atlanta Falcons and ended up playing in seven regular season games as a rookie, tallying 10 tackles, one pass breakup and one tackle for loss over 102 snaps.
Per PFF, Bryant allowed 12 catches on 14 targets into his coverage for 196 yards and a touchdown. Quarterbacks had a passer rating of 142.6 when targeting Bryant in coverage. He struggled in a Wek 15 matchup with Mike Evans, allowing four catches for 102 yards against his coverage.
The Falcons released Bryant from the practice squad on Sept. 2. He recently worked out for the San Francisco 49ers, per Schultz. More than likely, Bryant would be a practice squad candidate for the Packers.
Veterans Benjmain St-Juste and Carrington Valentine are the two backups behind Cisse and Keisean Nixon at perimeter cornerback. Kamal Hadden is also on the roster as a backup nickel, but he's played on the perimeter in the past. Rookie Domani Jackson is the lone cornerback on the practice squad.
Running back Chris Brooks was also injured in Sunday's win, so it's possible a few running backs will be part of Tuesday's workout group.
