Former Falcons CB Cobee Bryant works out for two NFC teams

The Green Bay Packers worked out former Atlanta Falcons cornerback Cobee Bryant on Tuesday, according to NFL insider Jordan Schultz. Bryant originally signed with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent following the 2025 NFL Draft.
The former Kansas Jayhawks standout made the Falcons' 53-man roster out of training camp and appeared in seven games (one start) as a rookie. Bryant showed some promise last season but also faced his share of struggles in coverage, allowing 11 catches on 15 targets.

While Bryant did not make Atlanta's 53-man roster in 2026, that was mostly due to the team's improved secondary depth. The Falcons drafted Avieon Terrell in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft and recently got Billy Bowman Jr. back after he missed the second half of his rookie season with an Achilles injury.
According to Schultz, Bryant also recently worked out for the San Francisco 49ers, where former Falcons head coach Raheem Morris currently serves as the defensive coordinator.

Bryant's college production was exceptional, and it was truly a surprise to see him go undrafted last year. During his four seasons at Kansas, he recorded 13 interceptions, including four picks during his senior year in 2025.
Hopefully Bryant catches on somewhere and continues to develop. The 25-year-old may still have a bright future in this league.
