Play of the Week nominees
Eyob Sullivan, sr., Port Washington: Sullivan has nine catches on the year heading into Week 8, including three touchdowns. Two of them came in a 35-28 victory over rival Grafton this past week, along with this 40-yard catch-and-run sequence to give Port an early 14-0 advantage over the Black Hawks.
Malik Cain, sr., Grafton: Although the Black Hawks fell short against rival Port Washington this past week, Cain had one of the highlights of the night for the home side. The senior wideout made a great catch from a Hunter Klippel toss in the back of the south end zone at Kellner Field to trim Port's lead to 21-14 late in the first half.
Ryan Gottsacker, sr., Muskego: The senior defensive back was crucial in Muskego's 22-20 upset on the road of defending Division 1 state champion Arrowhead this past week, tallying eight tackles, an interception and the game-sealing pass breakup in the end zone to keep the Warhawks from forcing a second overtime in one of the best games of the season.
