The Arizona Cardinals (1-3) are reportedly receiving trade inquiries regarding wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. ahead of their Week 5 matchup against the Detroit Lions (2-2), with the organization establishing a significant asking price for the former No. 4 overall pick.
According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero of The Sweep, multiple teams have contacted Arizona about Harrison’s availability. However, the Cardinals are reportedly seeking at least a second-round draft pick and additional compensation before considering a deal involving the 24-year-old receiver.
“One of the hottest trade names is Cardinals receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., and Arizona has already gotten several calls. But it won’t be cheap to land the former no. 4 pick,” Pelissero reported.

“Other teams that have spoken to the Cardinals say Arizona would want a second-round draft pick and more—perhaps an additional mid-round pick—to consider dealing Harrison.”
The reported asking price comes as Harrison continues struggling to establish himself in Arizona’s offense under first-year head coach Mike LaFleur.
Through four games this season, Harrison has recorded just five receptions for 85 yards and one touchdown on 13 targets. His limited involvement has raised questions about his long-term future with the franchise, particularly as the Cardinals attempt to snap a three-game losing streak.
Cardinals face major decision on potential Marvin Harrison Jr. trade
Kevin Jairaj-Imagn ImagesArizona selected Harrison with the fourth overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, passing on fellow wide receivers Malik Nabers and Rome Odunze.
The former Ohio State standout showed promise during his rookie campaign, recording 62 receptions for 885 yards and eight touchdowns across 17 games.
However, injuries limited Harrison to 12 appearances in 2025, when he finished with 41 receptions for 608 yards and four touchdowns.
Through the first four games of the 2026 season, Harrison has accumulated just five catches, bringing his career totals to 108 receptions for 1,578 yards and 13 touchdowns across 33 games.
Despite those numbers, Harrison remains an intriguing trade candidate because of his age, draft pedigree and potential to develop into a productive receiver in a different offensive system.
Pelissero also reported that Harrison has $6.3 million in guaranteed money remaining on his rookie contract, while Arizona must decide whether to exercise his fifth-year option for the 2028 season next spring.
Harrison recently hired representation for the first time in his NFL career, a development that could indicate he is preparing for a potential change of scenery.
General manager Monti Ossenfort now faces a significant decision involving one of the franchise’s biggest draft investments in recent years.
Although the Cardinals have reportedly maintained a substantial asking price, Harrison’s declining production could complicate negotiations as the Nov. 10 NFL trade deadline approaches.
Arizona is scheduled to host Detroit on Sunday as it looks to secure its second victory of the season.
