The Kansas City Chiefs endured a difficult 2025, failing to make it to the postseason after going 6-11 in the AFC West.
However, they have been revitalised this season and are currently 4-0 going into the weekend’s action.
Walker has played a key role in their return to form, but he wasn’t the only signing Brady thinks has had a big impact in the NFL this term.
Tom Brady praises Nakobe Dean, Kenneth Walker and Mike Evans
Appearing on Fox Sports, the Super Bowl winner was asked: “Who’s been the league’s most impactful signing so far this season?”
He responded: “I got a few. I just covered one in Seattle. He was the L** player of the game, Mike Evans, my former teammate in Tampa. Over 100 yards against that defence. He’s been lighting it up. He’s got some cracked ribs, playing with the toughness that I knew when I played with him, and I’m glad he’s on the national scene like he is right now.
“Also, don’t forget about Nakobe Dean at the Raiders. What he’s added at the middle linebacker position, so stout, so tough, some game-changing plays. That’s another one.
“And of course, you can’t forget about this guy, K9, Kenneth Walker, was leading the league in rushing through week four. He had a bye, but he’s been off the chain this year.
“The way he’s running, his physical toughness, his breakaway speed, he’s been explosive, he’s been efficient, he’s been the catalyst for that Kansas City Chiefs offence. That was a h*** of a signing for the Chiefs this offseason.”
The Chiefs are now set to return to action on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers, who have so far failed to win a game this season.
They head into that meeting 4-0 and top of the AFC West with the Denver Broncos sitting second (4-2).
