In ninth place is Fabian Ruiz, an undisputed mainstay for Luis Enrique’s PSG and Spain. In terms of team achievements this season, no one can match his haul of Ligue 1, the Intercontinental Cup, the UEFA Super Cup, the Champions League and the World Cup.
A remarkably intelligent player on the pitch, the Spaniard shines through his ability to cover ground, but above all thanks to his exquisite left foot. Able to dictate play and break the lines with his passing and dribbling, Fabian Ruiz ticks every box for a modern midfielder.
Now 30, the PSG player has established himself among the best in his position. However, a mid-season knee injury forced him to miss some major European clashes, undoubtedly costing him a few places in the final rankings.

Goals and assists across all competitions: 3 goals, 6 assists
Trophies: Ligue 1, Trophée des Champions, UEFA Super Cup, Intercontinental Cup, Champions League, World Cup
