Jaylen Brown's representatives offered a new explanation of what the Philadelphia 76ers star wanted from the Boston Celtics.
A representative for Brown told ESPN's Kris Rhim that Brown's only request after the Celtics informed him they planned to trade him was to have input on his destination. The representative also said Brown's only other request while in Boston was to be treated equally with Jayson Tatum.
The report comes after Celtics analyst Brian Scalabrine said Brown demanded a trade from the Celtics and "had a list of demands."
After his comments went viral, Scalabrine clarified that Brown "didn't technically demand a trade."
"It was, 'Do these things right here or else.' And one of them might have been, 'Give me the $140 million extension,'" Scalabrine added. "I haven't gotten to the bottom of all that. I didn't even know this was going to be a thing."
Brown's representative told Rhim that reports of him demanding a trade and presenting the Celtics with a list of demands were "10,000% a lie."

It's been a drama-filled week for Tatum and Brown.
It all started when Brown appeared to accuse Tatum of lying about how surprised he was by the trade. Tatum responded by saying he had no "animosity or beef" toward Brown. Brown agreed, but then added that Tatum has a "great PR team."
After Scalabrine's comment, Tatum was asked if he had heard from Brown over the last few days.
His response: "Listen, I've said my piece. I'm not making any more comments on that situation."
