Allianz Arena managing director Jürgen Muth has said he is confident that the turf swap after next month's NFL game can be done in time, despite a tight schedule.

After the NFL game in Munich on November 15 between the New England Patriots and the Detroit Lions, workers have only five days to replace the hybrid playing surface with grass before Bayern Munich are back in action in the Bundesliga.
"We know that this will work in the short timeframe," Muth told a news conference on Thursday, acknowledging that the process will still be a "challenge."
The American Football league is visiting Munich for the third time after 2022 and 2024.
Changing the turf before the NFL game is by contrast "relatively relaxed," the stadium boss said. After Bayern's Bundesliga clash against Borussia Dortmund this Saturday, organizers have two full weeks to transform the pitch and stadium into an NFL arena.
