The time has finally come for what could be the college football geame of the year. This Saturday, the No. 1 ranked Miami Hurricanes take their perfect record to South Bend for a prime time matchup against the No. 4 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish in a game that’s likely to have a massive impact on the college football playoff.

According to DraftKings Sportsbook, Notre Dame is currently a 5.5 point favorite over Miami with an over/under of 57.5 points.

ESPN’s college gameday will be there, but the real jewel here is that the Irish already have one loss this season, so this could very well be a playoff game to get into the playoff.

Miami is coming off of back-to-back close game performances against unranked Florida State and unranked North Carolina — where the officiating was a major topic after both games as well. You’d be foolish, however, to think Miami won’t dial up their best game of the season in what will be their biggest regular season game since they opened up the 2025 season against Notre Dame.
