Country music superstar Garth Brooks has added a third show at Hamilton’s TD Coliseum on Dec. 6.

It will be an afternoon concert, while the two previously announced performances at the same venue on Dec. 4-5 will be evening shows.

Tickets for Brooks’ Blame It All On My Roots arena tour go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. at Ticketmaster.ca .

All tickets are priced at $199.95, regardless of seat location, with an eight-ticket limit per purchase.

There are no pre-sales or advance box office sales.

The show will feature both end-stage and in-the-round seating, with all seats reserved.

The Blame It All On My Roots arena tour is described as a return to Brooks’ ‘90s shows. It will also serve as the foundation for Killer Live, a new approach to live recording that continues Brooks’ tradition of capturing history in real time.

Brooks blames third show on Canada

“Hamilton, we’re blaming this one on you!!!” Brooks said on his X account Wednesday. “Two shows just weren’t enough!!! We’re adding a third show at TD Coliseum on Sunday, December 6, and this one’s a matinee!!! What a way to kick off the Blame It All On My Roots Tour in Canada!!!”

His latest trek features “towering” LED screens, known as “the halo,” surrounding a 360-degree stage, a drum pod that rises above the main stage, and “a career-spanning set of fan favourites and iconic hits,” according to the tour’s press release.

Organized to coincide with the 30th anniversary of his 1996–1998 World Tour, the trek began on Aug. 20, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Ind. Brooks has sold more than 500,000 tickets so far this year.

Brooks last played in Canada on June 24 and 25, 2002, during his Stadium Tour at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton, Alta.

He last performed in Toronto on Sept. 6, 1996, during his World Tour II at SkyDome (now Rogers Centre). He also played Hamilton’s Copps Coliseum (now TD Coliseum) on Sept. 5, 1996, and returned to the venue on March 26, 2016.

The Blame It All On My Roots arena tour takes its name from the opening lyric of his signature 1990 song, Friends in Low Places .

Brooks is the biggest-selling artist in U.S. history and the first and only artist to surpass 200 million albums sold.
