In Saturday’s ACC Action, there was only one game as Louisville thumped Morehead State, 107-57.

The Eagles hung around for nearly 10 minutes before Louisville started to take over. The halftime score was 46-33, which was respectable enough.

Then the second half started, and Louisville just exploded.

The Cards caught fire with the score 53-35 and just under 18:00 left on the clock. Louisville ripped off 33 straight points, holding the Eagles scoreless for 10 minutes.

Morehead State didn’t score again until the 6:48 mark.

Freshman Obinna Ekezie had a sensational game with 20 points on 8-12/3-6 outing, and also grabbed 13 rebounds, and had a pair of blocks, too. Yes, it’s Morehead State. But he’s also a freshman playing in his second college game. The guy is clearly a major talent.

Sunday is an interesting day for ACC teams. Things start off with #9 Virginia visiting #12 Arkansas. In the evening, Pitt and Penn State have an in-state battle, and Cal is almost certainly going to get a major butt-whooping from #10 Houston.
