Is Cade Cunningham playing for Pistons on Wednesday night?

The Detroit Pistons and franchise superstar Cade Cunningham had quite the scare in the middle of March.

In a St. Patrick's Day win over the Washington Wizards, Cunningham suffered a collapsed left lung. The situation was already scary enough in itself for Cunningham's health and well-being. But for it to happen this close to the NBA playoffs for the Eastern Conference's top seed? Losing your top player indefinitely with just a month left in the season has to sting. What about, thanks to the NBA's 65-game rule, the effect on Cunningham's All-NBA, All-Defense, and general award eligibility? (Note: Cunningham is no longer eligible.)
The best news is that Cunningham now appears to be OK. According to ESPN's Vincent Goodwill, the Pistons talisman will likely make his return to Detroit's lineup on Wednesday night at home against the Milwaukee Bucks. Cunningham had missed Detroit's last 11 games. You can officially exhale, Pistons fans.

Even while presuming that the contender Pistons will be cautious with Cunningham, his return now should leave him with about three games to knock some rust off. Plus, he'll have the ensuing week or so of rest and tune-up that every locked-in playoff team gets before the start of the postseason. That's not bad!
With all things considered, after Cunningham suffered such a scary injury, this was probably the most ideal outcome for himself and the Pistons.
