The Georgia Bulldogs continue to dominate on the PGA Tour. Georgia has six players in the field for the most prestigious golf tournament in the world, the Masters. Last year, Georgia had seven players in the field.

Former Georgia star Bubba Watson is the last UGA golfer to win the Masters. He won it back in 2012 and 2014. The last Georgia golfer to win a major was Brian Harman at The Open in 2023.

This year, Georgia has plenty of contenders to win the Masters. The Bulldogs have three players ranked among the top-20 in the world. Russell Henley (No. 12), Sepp Straka (No. 13) and Harris English (No. 20) are all in fairly good form entering the tournament. Both Straka and Henley have posted top-10 finishes in tournaments ahead of the Masters.

The other remaining Georgia golfer in the field is amateur Mason Howell, who is one of six amateurs in the field. Howell will attend Georgia in the fall and is a high school senior. He's poised to do big things at the Georgia golf program. Rory McIlroy is the defending Masters champion and is in the same group as Howell.

The Masters will take place in Augusta, Georgia, from Thursday, April 9 to Sunday, April 12. The major tournament is arguably the top sporting event in Georgia all year and is held annually at Augusta National Golf Club.
