Philadelphia Eagles star quarterback Jalen Hurts is ready to turn the page following the trade of star wide receiver A.J. Brown.
While Hurts is proud of what the team was able to accomplish with Brown over the past four years, he's choosing to look forward, not backward.
"You come into it and you have a sense of pride in how it began and definitely what we were able to accomplish," Hurts said. "Nothing can take that away. For the great things that we did. Now it's time to focus on achieving great things with this new iteration of the team."
When asked about comments Brown made about he and Hurts not being as close as they once were, Hurts made it clear that his focus is elsewhere.

"I'm not in a place to challenge anyone's perspective on anything," Hurts said. "That's where I am. I have always been focused on the collective, put my energy towards that, and as a leader, I've always put an onus on giving maximum effort to achieve the shared mission we have as a team."
Relationships change over time, and people grow apart. That's normal. Hurts and Brown enjoyed some serious success together, but that time has come to an end, which could be beneficial.
Now, both sides can fully focus on football, which is what Hurts has been trying to do all along. The same can't necessarily be said for Brown.
