OG Anunoby permanently etched his name into New York Knicks history on Wednesday night, capping off a historic 29-point comeback against the San Antonio Spurs with a tip-in that left Madison Square Garden shaking. The thrilling 107-106 victory in Game 4 of the NBA Finals left celebrities in tears, fans with no connection to the Knicks in disbelief, and one Knicks player, Josh Hart, feeling complete and utter relief.

With almost exactly two minutes remaining, Hart stole an errant pass from De'Aaron Fox with the Knicks trailing by one, but seemed to get caught up in the air and missed the layup attempt.

Fortunately for Hart and the Knicks, all's well that ends well, and thanks to Anunoby, that was exactly the case.
Following Jalen Brunson's deep missed three-point attempt, Anunoby flew in and finished one of the greatest tip-ins just before time expired to give the Knicks the lead and ultimately, the Game 4 win.

Josh Hart admits his relief after Anunoby's tip-in completes Knicks comeback
While Hart's missed layup came at a less-than-ideal time, the Knicks' true Swiss Army Knife was bluntly honest about it after the game, specifically thanking Anunoby for saving him.
"I got a special shout-out for OG, man, because he saved me, at least for this game, a lifetime of regret," Hart candidly admitted during his postgame press conference.

Of course, no one knows how things would have played out if Hart's layup attempt had gone in, but regardless, hearing Hart give Anunoby not only his flowers but an open and honest "thank you" was a cool moment. And considering the all-around performance he and Anunoby each put in, along with several other Knicks, it's fair to say that Hart didn't deserve to have to shoulder that "lifetime of regret."
