Saquon Barkley, popular streamer make pitch to LeBron James for Sixers
· Yahoo Sports
The Philadelphia 76ers, and the rest of the NBA world for that matter, are holding their breath as everybody waits to see what happens with mega star LeBron James. The 41-year-old future Hall of Famer is set to enter year 24 and is coming off another All-Star season as he moves forward as a legendary player in the league.
It appears to be coming down to three teams realistically for James' services in 2026-27: the Sixers, the Miami Heat, and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Of course, James has history with both the Cavs and the Heat, but the Sixers probably offer his best chance at winning. He would be joining Tyrese Maxey, VJ Edgecombe, Jaylen Brown, and Joel Embiid to form the best starting unit in the league and a lot of star power. It makes sense that he would join Philadelphia.

Eagles star running back Saquon Barkley gave his thoughts on James and made his pitch to the future Hall of Famer:
If you want to go out with a bang, I feel like a great spot would be Philly and bring a championship to Philadelphia. You'll be remembered forever.

Then Brown was on with popular streamer, Speed, and told Speed to plead with James to pull up to Philadelphia. Speed included Paul George in his pitch, but Brown quickly corrected him that George was gone.

The Sixers have one of the more talented rosters, and adding James would push them into the contention conversations in the Eastern Conference.
