RHP Knaak returning to Clemson

CLEMSON, S.C. – Aidan Knaak will return for his fourth season at Clemson, announced Monday by the righthander. Knaak was drafted in the fifth round (No. 163 overall) by the Milwaukee Brewers as the first of five Tigers selected in the 2026 MLB draft.

“I’m extremely grateful to the Brewers for believing in me and offering an incredible opportunity,” said Knaak. “After a lot of reflection, I’ve decided to return to Clemson for my senior year. There’s unfinished business here, and I’m committed to growing, developing and putting in the work to be better for my teammates and this program.”
Knaak (Fort Myers, Fla.) is a two-time First-Team All-ACC selection, the first Clemson pitcher in history to earn that honor in each of his first two seasons. In 231.0 innings pitched over 44 starts in his career, he is 16-8 with a 4.29 ERA, .239 opponents’ batting average and 306 strikeouts against 81 walks.
For a career, he is second in Tiger history in strikeouts-per-nine-innings pitched (11.92), sixth in strikeouts, ninth in strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.78) and tied for ninth in starts on the mound. Clemson has a 32-12 record in his 44 career starts as well.
Ethan Offing (Irmo, S.C.) was chosen in the 18th round (No. 544 overall) by the Boston Red Sox, but he did not sign and is slated to play with the Tigers in the 2027 season.
