Former Nebraska lineman Ben Stille signs with Detroit Lions

A former Husker defensive lineman signed with an NFL team on Friday. Ben Stille signed with the Detroit Lions after cornerback De'Shawn Rucker was waived with an injury designation.

Stille played for Nebraska from 2016 to 2021. In 53 games, he recorded 149 career tackles, 30.0 for loss and 14.5 sacks.

He was an undrafted free agent with the Miami Dolphins. The Ashland, Nebraska, native has also been on the active rosters of the Cleveland Browns, Arizona Cardinals, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

For his NFL career, he has 17 tackles and two sacks. Now the former Huskers get a chance to continue their career in the NFC North.
