Another countdown to kickoff brings us to arguably the greatest No. 14 wearer in franchise history: quarterback Neil O'Donnell.
O'Donnell, selected by Pittsburgh with the 70th overall pick in the third round of the 1990 NFL Draft, served as the Steelers’ starting quarterback in the early 1990s.
During his time in Pittsburgh, O'Donnell provided steady and consistent play at the position, helping lead the Steelers to Super Bowl XXX.
While his final game as a Steeler ended in a losing effort to the Dallas Cowboys, a game fans would love to forget, O'Donnell's overall run in Pittsburgh is enough to recognize him as the best Steeler to ever wear No. 14.
