NFL cutdown day is underway, but the New England Patriots still have plenty left to do in building their team for the upcoming 2026 season. After finalizing an initial 53-man roster on Sunday, the team will look to add potential waiver-wire claims and build a 16-player practice squad.

Teams can enter waiver claims to add players with fewer than four accrued seasons to their active rosters until 1 p.m. ET on Monday. An hour later, at 1 p.m. ET, an initial 16-player practice squad can be built out of internal and external cuts.
