The Ballon d’Or race is beginning to take shape, and from a Bayern Munich perspective, there is one name sitting firmly at the top of the conversation — Harry Kane.

Per Grosvenor Sport, the latest odds have Kane priced at 3/5, making him a clear favorite for the prestigious individual award. That is hardly surprising after the extraordinary campaign he produced for Bayern Munich, where his goalscoring numbers and domestic success put him in an incredibly strong position. Current markets also continue to place Kane ahead of the field.
But there is certainly no shortage of competition.
Lamine Yamal is second at 9/2, followed by Kylian Mbappé at 11/2 and Rodri at 13/2. All three have compelling cases, particularly after Spain’s World Cup triumph reshaped the race.
Then comes an intriguing group. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia sits at 11/1, while Lionel Messi is 14/1 and reigning Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembélé is 16/1. Messi remains firmly in the conversation despite Argentina falling short in the World Cup final.
There is also plenty of Bayern Munich interest further down the list. Michael Olise is priced at 25/1, putting him alongside Fabian Ruiz, while Jude Bellingham and Achraf Hakimi are at 33/1. Vitinha follows at 40/1, with Declan Rice and Erling Haaland at 50/1.
For Bayern Munich fans, though, the biggest question is obvious — has Harry Kane done enough to finally bring the Ballon d’Or to Bavaria? The odds certainly suggest that he has a better chance than anyone else right now.
