Josh Allen ran for two touchdowns and threw for three more as the Buffalo Bills christened their new stadium with a 41-31 win over the Detroit Lions.
Allen rounded off a 10-play opening drive in their first regular-season match at Highmark Stadium as the Bills completed their second win to open the campaign.

The Bills quarterback found Josh Palmer from 43 yards and Dawson Knox from close-range as the hosts opened a 21-0 lead.
Jared Goff responded with a touchdown pass to Jahmyr Gibbs, Jake Bates cutting the half-time gap to 27-10 with a field goal after Allen had found Dalton Kincaid with his third touchdown pass.
Goff opened the second half by cutting the gap to 10 points with a two-yard pass to Amon-Ra St Brown, only for Allen to stretch it again as he stretched over in the corner.
Sam LaPorta responded with another touchdown catch from Goff, but the Lions were forced to punt from their own line and James Cook wrapped things up with a one-yard scoring run before a late score for St Brown.
